Gwen Paquin is a botanical artist who works in several media. With her handpainted silk she is able to create brilliant colors with fabric dyes. Watercolor paintings portray the fine details of plants and flowers. She also paints with oils, especially for larger pieces. Gwen's passion for flowers is obvious in her paintings and silk work.

Gwen moved to Nova Scotia the summer of 2010 and is eager to encorporate local flora, seascapes, and sea creatures in her work
